ok, #blacklivesmatter, if we're advocating that black people shouldnt vote until police stop killing us and we get reparations, ur setting the stage for Trump's heightened militarization of the police and full out martial law in black communities...
i've lived that 3 years in a row during the Miami riots: u better do some research about what that means...its a full out military occupation where all the marching, twitter, FB videos won't mean a goddamn thing...it means execution on sight w/no repercussions and the press can be censored, so no one knows what's happening to us... it is not the answer...ask the disappeared of Chile if that shit works... its also some serious bullshit to say, don't vote when people died for us to get the vote...and super irresponsible to a race of people who are being hunted not to spend our valuable time actively organizing a real economic strategy to protect us... i've heard complaint and bitching about fricking reparations...we have a ton of money in the sports and entertainment industry and still have no leverage on wall street or real power as a race of people. i don't want no damn reparations, i want real power: economic power...like Oprah can eat a protein pancake and send wall-street into a frenzy...imagine a unilateral strategy to harness that power... if we really economically boycotted America, we could shut corps down...they did it in Alabama under Jim Crow for godsakes (which is its own form of martial law) & shut down a city...and brought America to its knees... So while ur marching and hollerin' about don't vote, could somebody get us a Bayard Rustin in the house to figure how to wage economic war because we know that shit works... neither Malcolm nor Martin would be dead if they hadn't started mobilizing around poor peoples strategies...that is the single most powerful thing this country fears and we've yet to truly organize around that... this ain't rocket science...what would happen if every black person in America moved their savings, mortgages to black banks or even credit unions in black communities...for one full year... watch the walls tremble... i only fight to win...not complain or repeat strategies that don't work... #BankBlackBitches
