why did blake need to come out on madame secretary? couldnt they just give him a relationship and let his actions define his complexity...i didnt need that to like him...it was obvious to me he was family, but it would have been a lot more interesting to give him a relationship and not have to explain or defend it...he represents a different kind of power that would have been lovely to see it explored..we'd just have to fucking accept it...


sorta like jeff goldbloom's black kids in juraissic park...i loved that nobody ever explained it: we just had to fucking accept it & deal w/ur bullshit...and let a brown kid w/a white dad be the star in movie...we're working on that being normal, aren't we?


just make the fucking world different by making more interesting choices and not treating them as an act of bravery, but rather normalcy...
