"ancestor, forgive me for the times I desired a seat at a table you would've flipped"
there are times we stick around people, places and jobs longer than necessary. as if sticking around will change our circumstances if we would try harder. we this stickiness also manifests as holding onto core values that we've inherited that we've never examined so as a result, they have an invisible chokehold on what we can imagine for ourselves.
the result in both cases is the same: we are stuck. when you have done all you can do, it's time to grow. growth means change which is scary. change can look like:
all is within
all of these kinds of changes require a sense of knowing that all you need is within. but how do you get that?
u start by putting as much energy on healing the inside as you do trying to fix things beyond your control on the outside.
it means living in action as much as you live in hope.
it means setting goals that are completely within your control, measurable and concrete.
