I've gotten this question many times, so I'm going to begin a conversation in which I try to answer it in it's entirety: "I’m sooooo curious! Was there a specific work opportunity that brought you to Morocco, or love? What was it specifically about Morocco that made you know that was the place to relocate to? Huuuge question, I know!🧐" No job, no lover, just ideas, dreams and destiny...when I was here last year on vacation...I specifically refused to do any work or date. I came to live, to run free and made a commitment to myself to not be bothered with men....the result is that there were men everywhere asking me out....ain't that a bitch, but I digress. Plus, you best have a really good reason to move to another country other than a man, where does your soul belong...? That's far more important...in Morocco...I finally felt my soul rejoice...and needed nothing...so everything came my way....if your soul ain't settled, no man can settle that... Why Morocco? First off, my Cigna Health Insurance in the US is $900 per month with high co-pays and huge deductibles. 20% of a $800,000 hospital bill for cancer is still something that I could not pay and would die trying. That same Cigna Health Insurance Silver Plan with Cigna Global is $380 per month with no co-pays. Why because America starves you, lets you die from no medical care because they want to make money off of you dying...while the rest of the world doesn't grind its citizens into the ground and let them die from simple curable diseases THAT THEY CAN AFFORD TO CURE. We talk about that bothering us? But really, does it? Because that simple idea that my country would let me die because I couldn't pay for a $3300 colonoscopy in America, while the same procedures costs $$250 in the rest of the world really bothered me. Why would I want to live in a place that holds my life in such low esteem? God forbid, I get cancer....I'd be dead in America while Cuba actually has a lung cancer vaccine that I could get for $1500....something about that is profoundly wrong and it's not enuf for me to just sit around and talk about it. Next up...I'm going to deal with some of the bullshit fallacies we get sold about Africa. And I'm going to blame you for believing them, why? Because everything, I'm about to say, I learned by picking up a copy of Lonely Planet Morocco, the internet and then verifying with Moroccan licensed tour guides who directed me to the research. So, if you wanna be ignorant, that's a choice, but don't walk around acting like nobody you told you or acting like your fake news about African societies is the truth....howlin...
