 often times men show up with amazing intentions. then the secret ideas they have in their heads about what will be expected of them shuts them down and the disappear.
may we create a space where we can both get present with each other about what we dream about, but also realistically what we can do right now in this present moment. the weight of the past and fear of futures that have not happened yet keeps us trapped in this illusion of control. the only power is in the present moment and whether or not you have the courage to share ur vulnerability and trust they you’ve chosen well so that it will be received with love. And even if that doesn’t happen; i’ve learned that choosing vulnerability is always a way of breaking the cycle of expecting the worse. Vulnerability to the present moment with people makes me happier and lighter, free from the weight and fears that others try to lay on you.
